Hey there, Bryan residents! If you’ve been in town and looking for something fun to do, we’ve got some exciting news for you. Our very own Topgolf is taking over the former BigShots Golf Aggieland, and it’s official: they’re set to reopen on October 18th, and we can’t wait to check it out!

A New Chapter at Travis Bryan Midtown Park

The venue, located at 400 W. Villa Maria Road right in the heart of Travis Bryan Midtown Park, received enthusiastic support from the city council back in December, which voted unanimously in favor of Topgolf assuming ownership. That’s right, folks! The former BigShots, which opened its doors not too long ago on January 5, 2022, closed briefly on September 16 to toe the line for the new ownership. Now it’s all hands on deck as Topgolf gets ready for its big return.

What’s New at Topgolf Bryan

If you’re imagining a basic driving range, think again! The revamped Topgolf will feature an impressive setup with 60 outdoor hitting bays spread across two levels. And here’s where it gets super cool—these updated tee lines allow players to track the flight path of their golf balls. Isn’t that neat?

Of course, it wouldn’t be Topgolf without some delicious food and drink options. The full-service restaurant will serve all kind of goodies like boneless chicken wings, macaroni bites, and more to munch on while you enjoy a round (or two!) of golf. It sounds like a perfect spot to unwind and have fun with family and friends.

To kick off this exciting new chapter, Topgolf is throwing a grand reopening party on October 18th. They’re starting the day off right with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m., and they’ll have some fantastic deals for everyone in the following days.
