It all kicks off on Saturday with the seventh annual Trunk or Treat So Kids Can Eat event taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bryan High School parking lot. The best part? Admission is only five canned goods per person, which will be donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank! This family-friendly event features trunk-or-treating, inflatables, train rides, face painting, photo booths, and a whole lot more! It’s a great way to give back while having a fantastic time.
Later in the day, if you have little ones aged five and under, check out the Little Kids Spooky Carnival at the Clara B. Mounce Public Library from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.. This free event is packed with adorable carnival games and dress-up play is definitely encouraged!
On Sunday, head over to downtown Bryan for the fifth annual Halloweentown from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.. This is another free and family-friendly event where kids can enjoy trick-or-treating, a costume contest, and even a dance floor just for them! The winners of the kids’ costume contest will be announced at 5:30 p.m.. Don’t worry about parking; free street parking will be available in marked spaces. If you’re looking for some more spooky fun after Halloweentown, the Brazos Valley Bombers baseball team is hosting its Ballpark BOOfest at Edible Field from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be trick-or-treating, games, and entertainment galore!
Don’t miss out on an exciting opportunity at the Carnegie History Center on Tuesday! They’re hosting ghost hunting events; one at 6:30 p.m. for families and another at 8 p.m. just for adults 18 and over. Make sure you register on the library’s website if you want to join in on the ghostly fun!
On Wednesday, there’s another Trunk or Treat event at the Legends Event Center from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. This one is free for the community, offering games, music, local business booths, food trucks, and bounce houses. If the weather decides to act up, don’t worry; the event will be moved indoors.
Over in College Station, there are great events for all ages, starting with a Senior Autumn Fest for adults 55 and older on Thursday at the Lincoln Recreation Center from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Seniors are invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and enjoy food, dancing, and prizes!
Then, on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Wolf Pen Creek, the Texas A&M Forest Service will host an eco-friendly Trunk-or-Tree-t event where you can not only trick-or-treat but also grab some free trees! Just remember, no pets or glass containers are allowed, and free parking will be available at the Post Oak Mall.
