Second McAlister’s Deli to open in College Station this August

The bustling city of College Station is set to welcome the second McAlister’s Deli location in August. The popular eatery known for its sandwiches, salads, and world-renowned sweet tea announced plans for its new location at 3915 Texas 6.

Facilities and Employment Opportunities

The new McAlister’s Deli will offer plenty of room for customers with an impressive 3,100 square feet of space seating up to 76 guests. It’s also anticipated to boost local job opportunities, creating positions for between 75-100 people.

Like its sister location at 1006 University Drive E., the new location will bleed maroon with Texas A&M-themed décor and community-style seating suitable for study groups making it the perfect hangout spot for A&M students and staff.

Management and Expansion Plans

The restaurant will be managed by The Saxton Group, a Dallas-based restaurant franchisee already operating 75 McAlister’s Deli restaurants. The new location in College Station will mark another milestone as it expands its footprint in the area.

Adam G. Saxton, Co-CEO and owner of The Saxton Group, expressed his enthusiasm at the new development, saying, “We’re thrilled to bring a second McAlister’s Deli to the College Station community. With 45+ restaurants across the state, Texans have become some of our most loyal guests. We can’t wait to further our footprint in the area and allow our new and existing friends in College Station to experience everything McAlister’s Deli has to offer.”

Expectations and Community Impact

The opening of the new McAlister’s Deli is expected to bring several benefits to the local community, including employment opportunities and a new dining option for Texas A&M students. With its unique décor and community seating, it is expected to become a magnet for students seeking study groups or a local hangout.

Overall, this new development in College Station serves as an indicator of the area’s economic resilience and potential continued growth in the restaurant industry. With College Station residents and Texas A&M community keenly awaiting the August opening, this new McAlister’s Deli location promises to bring a fresh taste of fast-casual dining to the city.
