In Bryan, a man identified as Jerrald Dixon has been arrested for driving with an invalid license. The arrest occurred when an officer pulled over Dixon after discovering that his insurance status was unconfirmed. Legal troubles are not new for the 40-year-old, as this marks his seventh conviction for driving with an invalid license.

Dixon’s license reportedly had two active suspensions at the time of the arrest. The past convictions were recorded on June 6, 2024, August 23, 2022, May 2, 2017, February 14, 2013, October 9, 2012, May 23, 2011, and July 8, 2010.

Long History of Legal Issues

This isn’t Dixon’s first encounter with law enforcement. The man has been booked at the Brazos County jail no less than thirty times since December 2002. Despite the long criminal record, Dixon was released the following day after posting a $2,000 bond.

A 24-year-old former College Station police officer named De’Kedrick Anderson admitted to two misdemeanor thefts from July last year and was subsequently placed on probation. Allegedly, Anderson stole money from a person he had arrested.

Meanwhile, a 55-year-old woman named Alisa Starks was arrested for driving with an invalid license. This being her fourth conviction of the same crime, she is also awaiting seven trials for the same offence. Furthermore, she is facing another four trials for drug-related charges.
