College Station, get ready for a fantastic time on Saturday, March 29! The lively and much-anticipated Island Party Music Festival is back, hosted by none other than Beta Upsilon Chi, a National Christian Fraternity. This annual event promises to be filled with amazing music, delicious food, and a chance to support a great cause.
Mark your calendars and grab your friends, as the festival takes place at the picturesque Wolf Pen Creek Park starting at 4:00 p.m. with the gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Don’t miss out on a chance to soak in the sun, enjoy the fresh air, and get your groove on!
This delightful festival isn’t just for fun and good vibes—it’s making a real impact! The funds raised during the event will benefit Living Water International, a faith-based non-profit organization. Their mission? To bring sustainable water, hygiene, and sanitation programs to 16 developing countries. So while you’re enjoying the tunes, you’ll also be helping provide clean water to those in need.
Looking back at previous years, the festival has generously donated between $20,000 and $30,000 annually, with the largest donation hitting a whopping $50,000! Isn’t it amazing to see how a community can come together to make such a difference? Co-Directors Daniel Hochmeister and Grayson Brougher are leading the charge again this year, and they are excited to build on past successes!
Now, let’s talk about what everyone is really looking forward to: the music! This year’s lineup is packed with fantastic acts, primarily showcasing indie, alternative, and folk music. Kicking off the show is Caleb Mitchell from Washington, D.C., followed by local favorite Boyscott, who is known for their recent album “Spellbound.”
After a four-year hiatus, Briscoe is making a triumphant return to the stage, adding even more excitement to the lineup. At 9:40 p.m., catch Bryce Crawford, a well-known Christian influencer, who will be sharing the gospel and spreading positivity. Rounding out the night is headliner Rayland Baxter, an indie artist who has been charming audiences since 2012.
Your taste buds are in for a treat as well! The festival will feature a variety of food vendors serving up mouthwatering options like sweets, barbecue, burgers, and tacos. Plus, there’s a thrift pop-up for those looking to score some unique merchandise. It’s a true feast for all your senses!
Wondering about ticket prices? You can snag yours for just $26 online or at the gate. There’s also staggered pricing for kids aged 4-14, making it fun for the whole family. Just add a little sunshine and good vibes, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an unforgettable day!
