Hey there, Bryan! Big news in town as the historic LaSalle Hotel has officially reopened its doors to the public after a long and exciting renovation journey. Originally built back in 1928, this hotel is as much a part of our city’s identity as the charming streets it sits on, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see it welcoming guests once again!
After over a year of extensive renovations, the LaSalle Hotel is stepping into the spotlight with a fresh new look. The hotel now boasts 50 beautiful boutique rooms and five luxury suites, paired with some fantastic dining experiences. Guests can look forward to trying out the new restaurant, Station 36, and enjoying the ambiance of the hotel’s very own speakeasy, The Boiler Room. There’s also an inviting green space named The Platform available for events. Talk about a great way to blend history with modern luxury!
Jeremy Buffam, a partner at New Castle Hotels and Resorts, shared just how much effort went into bringing the hotel back to life. “A lot of money, a lot of hard work, a lot of people, and it’s all kind of coming to a conclusion,” he remarked proudly. It’s clear that they have poured their hearts into restoring this landmark, and Bryan is lucky to have such dedicated individuals working for our community.
The reopening wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing collaboration between New Castle and our local leaders. Mayor Bobby Gutierrez has been a champion for this project, seeing it as a vital part of the ongoing revitalization of Downtown Bryan. “What has happened in Downtown and what has happened with the LaSalle in general is just transformational,” the mayor expressed. He went on to highlight that the LaSalle, along with other attractions like the Queen Theater and Palace Theater, are key components to breathing new life into our downtown area.
One of the main goals of the renovation was to maintain the historical charm of the LaSalle Hotel while also updating it for modern guests. Buffam mentioned that the hotel’s décor pays homage to its roaring ‘20s roots, making it a unique destination in Bryan. “Downtown Main Street is just a unique spot. Many towns don’t have that,” he said, and we couldn’t agree more!
The hotel is now officially accepting reservations, and whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s an exciting time to check out what the LaSalle has to offer. With its elegant design, rich history, and prime location in the heart of Downtown Bryan, the LaSalle Hotel is set to be a popular spot for everyone!
It’s wonderful to witness how our downtown area continues to grow and thrive with developments like the LaSalle Hotel. With all the hard work from local leaders and the New Castle team, we can look forward to a vibrant future filled with opportunities for gathering and enjoying what Bryan has to offer. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and make those reservations!
