Fries Financial Services Gives Back: $40,000 Donation to Local Charities
Fries is Celebrating With a Difference
As part of their 40th anniversary celebrations, Fries Financial Services is giving back to its community in a big way. The firm announced its plans to donate a whopping $40,000 to ten local charities. The donations will be made in a special event scheduled for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on September 4 at their local office at 108 E. North Avenue.
Making a Difference in Brazos Valley
The money will be distributed as ten $4,000 matching grants to different charities that operate across the Brazos Valley. The chosen charities include BCS Together, Brazos Valley Meals on Wheels, Build Command Team, Elevate Ukraine, OnRamp, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the BEE Community, the REACH Project, the Texas Ramp Project, and Unlimited Potential.
Representatives from each charity will be present at the event. The selection of these charities was made on the basis that they are the “best kept secrets in BCS,” according to a statement by Fries Financial Services, and have proven to make a significant difference in the community.
More than Just a Donation
In addition to the generous donation, each charity also attended classes to learn valuable financial tips and tricks to help them optimize their finances. This training is meant to assist these charities in becoming more efficient and effective with their financial management, thereby extending the impact of the donated funds.
Speakers for the Event
Industry veterans and community leaders Royce Hickman and Patricia Gerling will be speaking at the event. Their contributions should add a valuable perspective to the proceedings, highlighting the importance of philanthropy, and how businesses can engage in more community-based initiatives.
Season of Giving
This generous move by Fries Financial Services not only marks a significant milestone in the firm’s history but also underscores their strong commitment to investing in the communities in which they operate. Over the years, Fries Financial Services have become more integrated into their local community, and this donation is their way of saying thank you and giving back.
