So, what exactly is being proposed? TxDOT has plans to widen the existing two-lane highway to four lanes. Roundabouts will also be constructed at the intersections of Coyote Run Road as well as Merka and Steep Hollow Roads. All this is part of a larger project that spans approximately 3.6 miles and will require 39 acres of new right-of-way.
