Start the Day with an Open House

First up, the City of Bryan is rolling out the welcome mat at their Open House. It’s happening at the charming Legends Event Center on Midtown Park Blvd, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a fantastic chance to explore interactive booths that showcase various city services and programs. How cool is that? Plus, there will be some door prizes up for grabs! And if that wasn’t enough, enjoy some refreshments while soaking in the sounds of live music by Joey McGee. This is one event you won’t want to miss!

Get Cooking with Indian Cuisine

Indian Cuisine Cooking Class? It kicks off at 6 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. at La Bougainvillea Kitchen and Lounge on S. Texas Ave. For just $85, you can learn how to whip up some delicious dishes while enjoying a delightful culinary experience. Talk about a tasty way to spend your evening!

Trivia Events – Test Your Knowledge!

Trivia on the Green at Century Square. Then, hit up Aggieland Trivia at Rx Pizza in Downtown Bryan at 8 p.m. You can also head over to another Rx Pizza on Greens Prairie Road for their trivia night at 8 p.m. too! If you want to keep the fun going, swing by Murphy’s Law for yet another trivia event at 8:30 p.m. There’s also trivia starting at 9 p.m. at Yesterdays Bar and Grill, and finally, wrap up your trivia night at Halo at 10 p.m. with even more questions to conquer!

Evening Entertainment Extravaganza

Ricky Montijo at Casa Do Brasil. Then, if you’re in the mood for some local talent, don’t miss Aggieland’s Got Talent at Rudder Auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets are just $20 for adults and $10 for students. Want something more musical? Check out the Wind Symphony concert also at 7 p.m. for a mere $5.

Dance lovers won’t want to miss the Student Choreography Showcase at PEAP Room 207, or the evening performance by Pepper X at Stage 12. Plus, enjoy a live performance by Terri Burger at Luigi’s Patio Ristorante. If theatre is your passion, then grab your tickets for the play “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” at StageCenter at 7:30 p.m. And don’t forget to catch Ben Morris at Cavalry Court Hotel at the same time!

Exhibit Highlights

Capturing Time: The Story of Early Photography” at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History, open through May 17. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children. If you’re an art enthusiast, the Ubiquitous Edward Gorey exhibit at Texas A&M’s Cushing Memorial Library & Archives is running through September 17, showcasing hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
