In an aim to make car shopping experiences more accessible and stress-free, Bryan, Texas-based automotive dealer, Douglass Automotive Group has unveiled its new financing programs. These programs are specially designed to cater to diverse customers from recent graduates to first-time car buyers, as well as foreign business professionals.
Favorable Prospects for Recent Graduates and First-time Buyers
The dealership’s new College Graduate Program offers recent graduates an additional $500 towards the purchase of any new Mazda. In an ambitious move to facilitate car purchases by first-time buyers, they are given the option to commence a car purchase without needing established credit, courtesy of the Volkswagen’s First Time Buyers Program which requires proof of income, at least one-year employment and US citizenship or permanent residency.
The Sales Manager, Travis Greer elucidating on the program mentioned: “Volkswagen’s program works on new cars, you can finance. You can lease. You can get a certified, pre-owned vehicle or a slightly used vehicle. It opens up customers to a lot of other options than what they think they might qualify for.”
The Introduction of Foreign Business Professionals Program
Douglass Automotive also sets to accommodate out-of-country business professionals, rolling out their Foreign Business Professionals Program. The program’s criteria require prospective clients to present their visa and a letter of intent for employment or their latest paycheck stub. This program seeks to level the playing field by offering almost the best rates to people even without a Social Security Number or well-established US credit.
“This program allows for people without the same amount of US credit to get almost the best rates offered through Volkswagen,” clarified Sales Manager, Eli Trompeter. “This program is for new vehicles, as well as certified pre-owned and leased vehicles. It allows people to have very competitive payments for a lot of vehicles.”
