An immense traffic accident involving seven vehicles, disrupted traffic on Highway 6 in South College Station this Thursday. The incident resulted in serious injuries, with three individuals being transported to the hospital for treatment.
The collision was reported initially as an eight-vehicle wreck, but it was later confirmed that a total of seven vehicles were indeed involved in the mishap. The incident took place on the northbound lanes of Highway 6, specifically located south of William D. Fitch Parkway.
Following the critical accident, the highway’s northbound lanes were completely closed, causing substantial traffic inconveniences. However, the lanes were later reopened around 3:30 p.m. the same day. According to the police, the feeder road remained closed temporarily to facilitate the evacuation of the damaged automobiles.
Local authorities and First Responders quickly arrived at the crash site near the Nantucket neighborhood. While driving through such crisis-stricken zones, the police department urges all drivers to reduce speed and pay keen attention to the slowing traffic.
Involved in the wreck, three individuals sustained injuries requiring immediate medical care. Post-crash, these individuals have been taken to the hospital, and there is no further information regarding their current medical status.

In the face of such incidents, the local authorities persistently remind the community to maintain caution and strict adherence to traffic rules while navigating the city’s roads. The prevention of such mishaps is a shared responsibility, and all drivers are encouraged to be vigilant about their driving habits.
