College Station Man Accused of Multiple Vehicle Burglaries Over the Weekend

In an exceptional instance of law enforcement, a man from College Station has been arrested in connection to a minimum of seven vehicle burglaries over the past weekend. The suspect, identified as Conner Zaragoza, 22, has been placed in police custody following the break-ins.

Caught in the Act

According to the Police Department in Bryan, officers reportedly caught Zaragoza in the act, breaking into vehicles in the Alamosa Springs neighborhood, located near the Brazos County Expo Complex. Zaragoza was confronted by officers approximately a mile-and-a-half away from the said neighborhood. During the inspection of his vehicle, officers retrieved multiple firearms, reported as stolen.

Mounting Evidence

Later, a warranted search at Zaragoza’s residence led to the uncovering of six firearms, and stolen items connected to at least seven different vehicle burglaries. The Directed Deployment team of the Bryan Police Department successfully carried out the search operation, discovering crucial evidence linking Zaragoza to the reported burglaries.

Charges and Bail

Zaragoza is facing multiple charges, including three counts of Theft of Firearm, two counts of Burglary of Vehicles, and a single count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. The accused is currently being held at the Brazos County Jail, with bail set at $85,000.
