College Station Hosts 8th Annual Fun Fest to Support Local First Responders

College Station Gears Up for a Fun-Filled Fundraiser

Hey there, College Station! Get ready for a fantastic day of fun, community spirit, and a chance to give back to our local heroes. The Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is organizing their 8th Annual Fun Fest on Saturday, September 28. Mark your calendars because this event is going to be a blast!

When and Where

The Fun Fest is happening from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Ranch Harley Davidson located at 4115 Texas 6 Frontage Rd. It’s a perfect opportunity for families to come together for a good cause, and what better way to do that than a day filled with activities and excitement?

What to Expect

This year’s event promises something for everyone. If you’re raising kids, they’ll love the Kids Zone, which features bounce houses sponsored by the Brazos Valley Bombers. There will also be a variety of First Responder vehicles on display for those who are curious about our brave men and women in uniform. It’s not every day that kids get a chance to explore these impressive rides!

Are you a motorcycle enthusiast? Don’t miss out on free motorcycle rides. Feel the adrenaline rush as you hop on and enjoy a little thrill! And when you work up an appetite, no worries — delicious options await you at the food trucks, where food will be available for purchase. You can savor a variety of tasty treats while listening to some live music.

Let’s not forget the popular silent auction that is always a hit. This is a great chance to snag some unique items while supporting our local First Responders!

Supporting Our Heroes

But the real star of the day? The cause behind all this fun! All proceeds from the Fun Fest go to support the Brazos Valley First Responders. The Brazos Valley Thin Blue Line Foundation and the Brazos Valley Chapter of the Thin Blue Line LEMC provide essential financial help to First Responders facing personal catastrophic events.

As Bubba Vincent from the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club mentioned, “We’ve given over $115,000 now to local responders when something bad occurs. Everything from helping with funeral expenses to aiding families in need during tough times.” He provided an emotionally moving example of how they assisted a little girl whose officer father was killed, showing just how powerful and essential this support can be.

Join the Fun!

So, whether you’re a local seeking a family-friendly outing or someone looking to connect with and support our First Responders, the 8th Annual Fun Fest is the place to be! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors. Let’s come together as a community to show our appreciation for those who serve us daily.

For more updates on the event, be sure to check out the Thin Blue Line LEMC’s Facebook page. Spread the word, gather your loved ones, and get ready for a day that combines fun, community, and support for our heroes in blue!
