Aid in Forest Fires and Structural Fires

The brave team assisted in quenching over 1,700 acres across six distinct wildfires. Additionally, their expertise was also enlisted for ‘structural protection’ on eight more structure fires. Their remarkable efforts resulted in the containment of rapidly spreading wildfires, ensuring the safety of people and the protection of property and local vegetation.

Valuable Assistance to the Texas Forest Service

The CSFD firefighters served alongside the Texas Forest Service, strengthening the efforts to control widespread fires. Regardless of the challenging environment, the firefighters worked for two weeks straight, underscoring their unwavering commitment to safeguarding communities.

A Warm Welcome Home

After the rigorous service period, the firefighters returned home to a warm welcome over the weekend. Their return marked the end of their deployment, but their gallantry and dedication will continue to inspire many. The four heroes are now ready for some much-deserved rest before returning to their usual service in the College Station area.
