College Station, Texas – November 2024 – First Adventures, a longtime favorite among College Station families, is thrilled to announce its rebranding as Yaya’s Family Daycare & Preschool. With seven years of heartfelt care and support, co-founders Marie-Anne Mousseau and Zahia “Yaya” Ibrahim are excited to reintroduce their daycare in a new, expanded facility with room for more families.

Two Women, One Dream

Marie-Anne’s journey began with a leap of faith in 2017, driven by her desire to pursue her entrepreneurial dreams and set an example for her infant daughter, while also navigating the familiar guilt of being a full-time working parent. Teaming up with Zahia, the infant room teacher who quickly became a trusted partner, the two women transformed the center into a supportive, thriving space they now call Yaya’s Family Daycare & Preschool. “At Yaya’s, we’re not just a daycare; we’re family,” Zahia shares. “We love, trust, and communicate like a healthy family does. Here, you will always be treated with respect and understanding.”

The Ultimate ‘Glow-Up’: More Space, More Smiles

This rebrand isn’t just a name change—it’s a full glow-up. Yaya’s Family Daycare & Preschool has grown from a cozy space for 30 children to a welcoming, expanded location that can now serve up to 130 children. “Our new spot may be tucked in the back of an office complex, but it’s ready to grow with the community,” says Marie-Anne.

Partnerships with Clean Eatz and BCS Laundry Mom will soon bring convenient meal and laundry services to parents, giving them more time for what matters most.

Designed by Cultivate Your Space, the new facility combines a cozy, welcoming feel with vibrant areas where children can learn, play, and grow. “We wanted a place that feels happy and safe—a place kids and parents look forward to,” Zahia says.
