Two young men, Audreas Gibson and Nathaneal Aniello, have pleaded guilty to an armed robbery that took place in October 2023. Gibson, only 19 years old and hailing from Hearne, confessed to the crime on January 9 and is currently facing a five-month prison sentence known as shock probation. This means that if he successfully completes his sentence, he might be granted probation for the remaining portion of a ten-year sentence.
Gibson’s accomplice, also 19, Nathaneal Aniello, who resides in College Station, faced multiple serious charges. In November, he admitted guilt in six felony cases, which included aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Due to the severity of his involvement in the same robbery as Gibson, where they reportedly pistol-whipped their victim, Aniello has been sentenced to six years in prison.
This troubling robbery had dire consequences for the victim, who was not only physically harmed but also lost valuable belongings—including two guns, a pair of trendy Air Jordan shoes, and a staggering $600 in cash.

In a particularly heartbreaking case, Jordan Anderson-Stewart, aged 30, received a five-year prison sentence after admitting to pushing the mother of his child to the ground, which tragically resulted in a brain bleed. In addition, Anderson-Stewart has faced prior probation violations stemming from a burglary of his ex-girlfriend’s home back in September 2018.
Equally alarming, Vincent Marshall Jr., a 36-year-old man from Houston, was sentenced to an astonishing 28 years in prison for a pattern of domestic violence against a woman in College Station dating back to October 2020. Marshall’s sentence is described as less severe than it might have been, considering he previously faced felony domestic violence charges in Harris County, which were eventually downgraded to misdemeanors or dismissed entirely. His history is disturbingly long, with 11 felony domestic violence indictments on record, involving severe acts like strangulation and other brutal assaults leading to his victim’s hospitalization.
Lastly, the Bryan police are investigating a robbery that occurred at Post Oak Mall where a jewelry store was the target of a sneaky theft. The robbery left behind a shattered glass case and a hammer, suggesting an audacious attempt to make off with precious goods.
