Adding to the thrill, A&M Consolidated’s Raines Watson took home the title at the Region 3-5A tournament with a phenomenal score of 74-68, totaling an impressive 142. The College Station Cougars put up a commendable fight, finishing third overall in the tournament with a cumulative score of 638 over two days.
