Revitalization of Century Square in College Station: New Openings Scheduled for Late August

Revitalization of Century Square in College Station: New Openings Scheduled for Late August

Development Continues at Century Square, College Station

In College Station, Texas, updates to Century Square are gaining momentum as the project enters its final stages. Construction is nearing completion, drawing an impressive number of commercial ventures to the newly developed area. To date, six establishments have confirmed their placement in the Square, with two additional spots available for further business expansion.

Century Square’s marketing strategist, Madi Poland, enthusiastically announced incoming businesses, including prominent names such as Sephora, ChopShop, Coco Shrimp, Dimassi’s, Houston Hot Chicken, and Wells Fargo. The turnover of spaces to these companies will begin shortly, with some expected to start operations this fall, and others aiming for a spring 2025 grand opening.

Health and Wellness Studios Advance to Century Square

Trufusion and Renew You, two health and wellness centers, will establish their new locations near the Star Cinema Grill within Century Square. This move aligns with the broader trend towards wellness-focused enterprises in urban centers, catering to the community’s growing interest in holistic health and fitness. Representatives indicated that these studios would be fully operational by 2025.

PopStroke Anticipates Late August Opening

Prior to the full completion of Century Square, PopStroke, situated near College Avenue, is scheduled to open in late August. Representatives hinted at a more specific opening date, claiming that further information would be released in the coming weeks.

Legacy Point Development in View

Developments in the surrounding areas of Century Square are also ramping up, particularly at Legacy Point near Northgate. In March, a preliminary development plan for the Culpepper Realty and L.V. Collective was submitted to the City of College Station, proposing utility services for the 10-acre space at the intersection of University Drive and College Avenue.

The Legacy Point project shows a long-term commitment from the Culpepper group, who have spent many years carefully planning its implementation. With its prime location and close proximity to the campus, Legacy Point is poised to rejuvenate the area, offering a unique mixture of residential and retail spaces that will complement the thriving Century Square.

The plan outlines an exciting combination of student accommodation options, ground-floor retail shops, and a connection of the internal drive in front of The Stack to South College Avenue. Initiation of the construction work is expected in early 2025.
