A Shocking Assault in Bedias
On the night of April 17, excitement turned to alarm when 42-year-old Rodney Williams Jr. from Bedias was arrested after an incident at an apartment along Southwest Parkway, nestled between Welsh and Wellborn. In a disturbing turn of events, a woman was assaulted but fortunately suffered only minor injuries. Even better news emerged as an undisclosed number of children present during the incident were reported uninjured.
This serious situation led to Williams facing four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. To add to his troubles, he has a warrant out for violating probation from a 2018 misdemeanor criminal mischief plea. As of April 18, this individual is behind bars with a hefty bond totaling $124,000.
