Bryan ISD Superintendent Shares Vision for 2024-2025 Academic Year

Superintendent Ginger Carrabine Maps Out Goals for Coming Year

Bryan, Texas – The Bryan Independent School District (ISD) is preparing to kick off the new academic year next week with roughly 16,000 students returning to their classrooms on August 13. Superintendent Ginger Carrabine shared her enthusiasm and vision for the upcoming year.

“We’re eager to build on the momentum we’ve had over the previous year,” said Carrabine. “We’re inviting families back to our schools to join hands with us as we aim to create an engaging and successful educational experience for our students.”

Upcoming District Projects

Several exciting projects are on the horizon for Bryan ISD. One significant development is the expansion of O.W. Sadberry Intermediate School.

“Last year we opened the doors of Sadberry to just 5th graders. This year, we’re excited to return with our now 6th graders and welcome a fresh batch of 5th graders,” shared Carrabine. “We’re looking forward to seeing Sadberry operating at full capacity.”

Moreover, Bryan ISD is also eagerly anticipating the unveiling of the Ruby Haliburton Auxiliary Complex. “We have scheduled a grand opening ceremony on September 23. We invite our community members to join us in this celebration,” added Carrabine.

Resources for Families

The Bryan ISD has created an accessible ‘Back to School Hub’ for parents and students. The digital portal provides a one-stop resource center offering everything from school supplies lists, to dress code protocols, to information on the district’s transportation and nutrition services. Carrabine underscored the importance of this hub in ensuring families have easy access to all necessary information for the beginning of the school year.

All these initiatives and resources highlight Bryan ISD’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for student growth and learning during the 2024-2025 academic year. With the articulated goals and projects, the district is poised to make significant strides in academic success and community engagement.
