Hey there, folks! We have some thrilling news straight out of Bryan, TX! On Tuesday, September 17th, students from Bryan High School were in for a real treat when they received an electrifying announcement from Northern Tool + Equipment and the famous Monster Jam. Get ready for it – they will be spending the entire school year building a Mini Monster Jam Truck! How cool is that?
This isn’t just any fun activity; this unique project will culminate in a grand unveiling next June when Monster Jam rolls into the Moody Center in Austin. How exciting is it that students will get to show off their hard work at such a big event? This initiative is part of Northern Tool + Equipment’s superb Tools for the Trades™ program, which aims to spark interest in trade careers among young people. Talk about a fantastic opportunity!
Frank Crowson, who holds the title of Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Northern Tool + Equipment, couldn’t hide his excitement about the collaboration. He shared, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Monster Jam! We are excited to meet Monster Jam’s loyal fans and show them the same power and grit of Northern Tool + Equipment products that they see in the Monster Jam trucks.” Now that sounds like a win-win situation!
On the educational front, Ryan Kotula, Co-Owner of Northern Tool + Equipment, emphasized the importance of learning. “Partnering with Monster Jam on this first-of-its-kind Monster Jam Mini Build for the students at Bryan High School is exactly what this program is about.” Can we get a cheer for hands-on learning?
Students aren’t just going to be playing around here; they will actually build the truck and receive guidance from Monster Jam mentors. This means they will gain **invaluable** hands-on experience. So, what’s powering this beast of a Mini Monster Jam Truck? It will feature the new NorthStar 740cc EFI engine. This engine represents the durability and power that Northern Tool is renowned for. Sounds like they will have a robust starting point!
Wade Kotula, also a Co-Owner of the company, added, “Our new NorthStar 740cc EFI engine is the heart of the Monster Jam Mini Build and will give the students a great starting place.” How inspiring to have such powerful backing!
Monster Jam representatives are equally thrilled about this partnership. Bill Easterly, Vice President of Fleet Operations and Development, expressed his eagerness to mentor the students. He remarked, “They will have their share of successes and a few failures. What they will certainly figure out is that their successes directly depend on their ability to problem-solve as a team.” What a valuable lesson on teamwork and perseverance!
Adding to the excitement, Armando Castro, the driver of Monster Jam’s El Toro Loco, chimed in, “It’s cool to see Monster Jam and Northern Tool come together to provide such an amazing opportunity for students. I can’t wait to see what they come up with!”
The initiative has received glowing praise from Bryan High School’s welding instructor, Chris Lehde, who said, “We are grateful to Northern Tool + Equipment’s Tools for the Trades program and Monster Jam for bringing this opportunity to our school. The students are excited to get started.”
With this partnership kicking off, students at Bryan High can gear up for an engaging and educational year ahead. Get ready to watch them unveil their Mini Monster Jam Truck at the iconic event next summer, folks! Who’s excited? We sure are!
