Let’s take a closer look at some of the amazing nonprofits taking part in this year’s event:
The Bryan ISD Education Foundation is dedicated to boosting education in the area. Leah Vernon, an executive committee member, shared that most funds go directly to teacher grants and scholarships that elevate students and educators alike.
Located in Veterans Park in College Station, the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial is a stunning 12-acre site honoring those who have fought for our nation. The organization aims to complete the memorial by fundraising for four remaining statues representing various wars, emphasizing the importance of remembering our heroes.

This inspiring organization focuses on providing mobility carts to individuals in developing countries. Volunteers from our very own Brazos Valley dedicate their time to assemble these life-changing carts.
Sharing the love through service, the Brazos Church Pantry aims to provide food to those in need throughout the area. Located at 304 W 26th St A in Bryan, this nonprofit truly embodies the spirit of community.
Passionate about animal welfare, Haven Animal Rescue works tirelessly to save animals and find them forever homes, addressing the overpopulation issue in Texas.
This organization focuses on empowering youth by providing after-school programs that support academic growth, nutritious meals, and mentoring opportunities.
Whether you donate online or in person, remember that every little bit counts. This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to give where you live, supporting the nonprofits that make our community a better place to live. Let’s come together and show what the Brazos Valley can do!
