A Discussion with the Brazos County Emergency Management Coordinator

In a recent interview, Brazos County Emergency Management Coordinator, Michele Meade, expressed concern about the aftermath of the severe storms. The extent of the damages is still being assessed, but flooding has caused significant inconveniences, including road closures and damage to private property.

Reporting Storm Damages

The Texas Department of Emergency Management has urged residents who have experienced damages to their homes or other properties due to the storm to report via its damage survey. This vital information will assist in forming a better understanding of the overall impact of the storm and help in planning for recovery efforts.

A Plea for Continued Caution

While the storm has passed, its impacts are far from over. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant, particularly when traveling, as the risk of further flash floods remains high.
