Disturbing Incident at Bryan High School: Student Arrested for Gun Possession

In a message to parents, Principal Lane Buban assured them that the situation was handled quickly and peacefully, stating there was no threat to the school community. “Earlier today, we received information that a student was in possession of a weapon on campus. Our school administrators and school resource officers responded immediately, and the situation was quickly addressed,” he noted.

The handgun was located and secured by the SRO Unit,” they stated.
