Reports of phone outages emerged yesterday from several agencies in the Bryan-College Station area. The City of College Station issued a statement via social media stating that a number of cell phone providers were currently unable to dial into the city offices.
“Some cell phone providers are unable to place calls to the City of College Station offices this morning. We thank you for your patience as we work with our provider to quickly resolve this issue,” the post read.
Other organizations reporting phone issues include Texas A&M Police, College Station ISD, and BTU.

BTU acknowledged the issue as well, tweeting, “We are still having issues with our phone service. Some calls cannot be received. If you can’t contact us, email contactBTU@btutilities.com. We are working to resolve this problem and appreciate your patience.”
