Officer Lindsey Kindt Receives 2024 Brazos Valley Impaired Driving Enforcement Award

In a recent recognition lunch at the Christ Church’s Welcome Center in College Station, Somerville Police Officer Lindsey Kindt added yet another accolade to her impressive career in law enforcement by bagging the 2024 Brazos Valley Impaired Driving Enforcement Award.

Award for Excellence in Enforcement

The award presentation, organized by the Brazos Valley Safety Coalition, saw Officer Kindt emerge as one of the ten honored law enforcement officers for their immense contributions in combating impaired driving within the Brazos Valley area. The honorees were nominated by their respective agency supervisors based on assorted criteria, prominently featuring their tally of DUI arrests and preventive measures taken against impaired driving.

A Dedication to Service

Officer Kindt’s noteworthy achievement is a testament to her unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety of Somerville’s residents. She has continually proven to be a formidable force against impaired driving, amassing an impressive number of DUI arrests and taking a proactive approach to the overall safety of the community.

In addition to her regular law enforcement duties, Officer Kindt also took part in a recent “Tip-a-Cop” fundraiser, held at the Texas Roadhouse in College Station, aimed at raising funds for the Special Olympics.
