New Drury Hotel making fast progress on University Drive in College Station
Construction Sets Pace for a 2025 Spring Season Opening
College Station, Texas – Construction has commenced for the new Drury Hotels property located on 701 University Drive, College Station. The forthcoming multi-level hotel shares its prime property with established outlets such as The Republic Steakhouse, Starbucks, Snooze, and Five Guys. This will become the first Drury Hotel establishment in College Station, and the twentieth location in the Lone Star State.
Fast-Tracked Construction and Development
With plans of opening its doors to customers by the Spring season of 2025, Drury Hotels has set a brisk pace for the hotel’s construction and development. The new property will feature 160 guest rooms, along with a sprawling 1,100 square feet of space dedicated to hosting meetings and other events. The hotel aims to cater to the influx of both leisure and business tourists, providing an ideal base within minutes of College Station’s city center and the renowned Texas A&M University campus.
In anticipation of the building completion, Drury Hotels has kick-started its team member recruitment and other key hires for the College Station market. Upon its scheduled opening, the hotel is expected to employ approximately 50 personnel on a full-time and part-time basis.
