Anel, the Founder, received my diploma from Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, Texas. She worked as a pastry chef at various French restaurants, including Aquarelle and Capitol Brasserie, as well as Whole Foods Austin, before returning to College Station and partnering with her husband, Sam, to create 1541 Pastries and Coffee in 2011.
