Three Men Arrested for Sexual Assault of Minor in College Station

College Station, Texas: Local Community Shaken by the Alleged Assault

College Station, a town renowned for its quiet neighborhoods and community spirit, is now plagued with shock and dishonor as three individuals have been linked to a sexual assault of an underage victim. The incident has led to the arrests of William Johnson, Otto Randolph, and Ryan Hoffart.

Johnson, Randolph, and Hoffart have been associated with a lawsuit that was filed in January of this year against several faith-based institutions, including the College Station Chi Alpha Ministries, General Council of the Assemblies of God, North Texas District Council Assemblies of God, and Mountain Valley Fellowship.

The Accusations and Charges Against the Accused Individuals

The lawsuit alleges that Johnson, Randolph, and Hoffart engaged in numerous sexual assaults against the minor, identified only as L.H. The abuse is alleged to have taken place when L.H. was just 13 years old.

Among the charges, Hoffart is accused of driving L.H. to Houston, where L.H. was further sexually abused by a man known to be a registered sex offender and identified as a religious leader within the local Chi Alpha chapter at Texas A&M and the Mountain Valley Fellowship in College Station.

A Fourth Suspect Still at Large

A warrant is still out for the arrest of a fourth suspect, Alex Owens, who is also named in the lawsuit. Owens’ whereabouts remain unknown despite efforts from local law enforcement agencies.

The Community and Faith-Based Organizations Response

The local community has been left aghast by the shocking allegations.

The father of L.H. has claimed that local faith-based organizations, including Chi Alpha, Mountain Valley Fellowship, the Assemblies of God Church, and other religious organizations, had knowledge of the abuse but did not act to prevent it.

The Suspects’ Current Legal Status

Hoffart is being held on two charges – one for indecency with a child exposure and another for indecency with a child sexual contact – each carrying a bond of $50,000. Johnson and Randolph each face a charge of indecency with a child exposure and have been handed a bond of $25,000 each.
